Parent, guardian or spouse MUST be a member of the Non-Commissioned Officers Association. Monies granted for the scholarships will be by administered the Magnum Force Chapter 0357 to the recipient.
Scholarship awards may be used to pay for room and board, tuition and library fees, text books and related instructional materials. These grants are intended to render financial assistance for student’s enrollment in a college-level institution. Awarding of NCOA scholarships is not limited by race, color, creed, national origin or sex.
Student grants are not guaranteed for renewal. Students must maintain a “B” average and prove registration as a part or full time student in an accredited college or university. To apply for a renewal of your scholarship grant, you must submit an NCOA Scholarship Renewal Application. Forward the application along with a certified transcript showing your last semesters grades to arrive at Magnum Force Chapter 357 not later than May 31 of the current school year. Parent’s/guardian’s/spouse’s NCOA membership must be current in order to apply for scholarship renewal.
Only individuals selected to receive NCOA Scholarships will receive notification letters. A press release consent form will be sent with a notification letter. (Refusal to sign will not negate awarding of scholarship.)
